I get you. I mean, she... Just doesn't looks like she want to change herself? Always say that she is weak or whatsoever but never give an effort to change? She relied on her husband too much too. She seems busy but I wonder what she did. I like how she communicate with duke but nah I feel like she's forced to be mary sue too. This story could get a bit better if she did something.

like idk but it’s probably just me getting tired with this “poor heroine” tropes but man, i really am tired of this lol i mean they are cute,,,but she says she doesn’t believe all the rumors about him then one second she’s all scared of him and believing the rumors that those who annoyed him will get killed. i feel like they are just forcing the heroine to be pitiful. (ik she is bec her family’s shitty) but it just kinda feels like forced to me. will probably drop this now sorry
