Yeah, it's still a bit confusing tbh. I hope it gets explained a bit more in the next chapter and doesn't skip the full explaination until ages later, like so many writers do... XD
I'm still wondering if it truly is like in the past tho. Because the current generation's sister seems more like an importer that figured out how to steal powers or fake them. At least that's how she came across to me so far.
