I get what you mean. They care about him but they're keeping a kind of distance in order to keep the secret. Contrasted with how cuddly they are with Yousuke--especially Iwaki--it makes me sad for Shou. I wish he knew how happy it made Iwaki to see his picture in the magazine.
Their relationship with Yousuke is unquestionable bcos they knew Yousuke since he was born. Iwaki thought of Yousuke as his own child.in another hand, Shou just appeared like a ghost from the past so i think it's normal to feel a distance between them.
