i think the point is that suh actually doesn’t know that he had to give up his dreams to be with him. if the main character had just communicated there wouldn’t be all this angst (imo)
So if you’re dating someone and they had to give up their life passion to be with you, you would just let them ? That’s inherently selfish because suh gets to keep his boyfriend and his dream while seonyul is only left with him and suh hasn’t even been paying attention to him even tho he made seonyul feel obligated to stay with him by begging seonyul not to leave and saying he’ll kill himself if he does. Seonyul is depressed by the fact that he has to become a lawyer and Suh is literally just dragging him down
