Honesty i think he doesn't want such a powerful bloodline to continue...
Or he wants to marry her into the royal family so later when she's married in hell prove that she is of that bloodline and have both powers in his control...
I think if she really is the daughter/relative, the duke can send her to the holy kingdom or can prevent the marriage of the mc with the crown prince which the emperor wants to avoid. But i'm not really sure.
That is what I am curious too. Like what is his advantage in all this.
I can only assume it’s because he knows why the duke has no recollection of having her in the first place.That, or he doesn’t actually want her to gain power or favor from others. He may actually be in cahoots with the count and planned to keep her so they can use and breed their own power in the dark. For the duke to know she exists and keep her protected would be against their greed.
That crown prince is also a nasty little bugger. He helped someone take an innocent child away from her father. I don’t like him.
Seeing how great the duke's family's powers are, the royal family probably wants those too. And how do you get them? Use her like a breeding mare once she's older. Sorry to put it so bluntly, but I'm fed up with that aspect of fantasy manhwas.

He was the one who reversed time, he made a deal to lose all his memories of her (and never be able to get them back) to save her life after the fire killed her.

Its never really said but he went to save her from the fire and gets there as she dies.

Why is the emperor so insisted in claiming she is not his daughter?? Like is there a reason for him to care so much?
