Yes he did but exactly why he’s hesitating when he isn’t confused, and why did he make her feel that he likes her then act as if nothing has happened
He said cause he felt like he was pressuring her because he's much older and divorced. He said he's not confused about liking her but that doesn't mean he doesn't have doubts about whether he should confess or not cause he thought the feelings were one sided. He was probably afraid of being rejected.
He's scared like she was refusing to acknowledge her feelings outwardly to her first love which caused her a lot of pain. That's something they have in common. Plus, as someone else said, he has a lot of baggage, and as much as divorce here is probably taken more lightly, over there it's huge black mark or at least that's what I've seen.
She finally said it but why is he acting so vague? he obviously likes her but why Isn’t he acting more firmly towards his feelings i know he can because he isn’t confused like he mentioned, i was thinking it could be from a past experience giving the fact he’s divorced but idk I’m just wondering what’s he’s thinking about and hopefully we’ll get to see a chapter about that
