This is my theory

Cain will think that the mc is just hitting on him because of the post, and they will have another big misunderstanding.

Blond guy and mc will start to get closer and mc will become confused about his feelings.

Blond guy confesses and mc find out about nlond guy's lies, and he tells mc that that was because he liked him.

Cain realizes that he actually have feelings for mc. He only realizes it now because even though he knows how to pretend, he isn't good at discerning his own feelings cause he's been told so many times to hide his feelings, or maybe he thought it was lust instead of crush/like/love.

Then idk what happens. Maybe mc and blond guy got together and Cain distances himself. Maybe Cain also confesses his feelings and fight for mc.
Or maybe Cain confesses and dates mc and mc realizes that whatever he's feeling for blond guy is just infatuation.

(I'm not good with names so bear with me. I only rememberes Cain's name because of the comments)

(Btw, i'm a Cain × Mc shipper. Eventhough Cain did that, and I tgink he should make it up to the mc. I think that was his true attitude and he's like that only because of maybe the trauma of the way that he's been raised up. And I noticed that he can only display his true feelings when he's with mc, doesn't that mean that he let down his walls for mc, and that he's also the first one that Cain let fown his walls for.

I mean, at least Cains authentic to mc, not like blond guy who lied to mc and is changing his attitude to please mc (The changing attitude part is just a speculation because you xan see that when blond guys is interacting with Cain without mc noticing, or whenever blond guy sees mc together with Cain, he shows rhis dark expression, which i think is a bad sign tbh))
