mainly because he is a sympathetic main character in a fictional story. The answer is this: no one in real life asks... wait.. here's your words: quote, "someone to take care of their fucking rapist and blackmailer." No one asks that in RL, NO ONE. okay? This is a story. It has nothing to do with your life or mine or anyone's, all right?
There is such a huge difference between this and rl that it's absurd to even try to apply something about real life to this manhwa.

.......ik it's a story but do you see what i mean? i get that i said defending kang, but i was really talking about the situation. it was rape, no matter how you look at it, and i was only agreeing with this person who also thought the same as i did. to romanticize rape is uh... how do i say this..... wrong? gross? a lil bit disturbing....? all of the above?

(This is an over-all comment to all of the things you commented on other people's comments as well, since you sure love replying to peoole) Rape is rape, and rape is wrong. It doesn't matter in which context, or how it's done. It's a crime. It truly doesn't matter if it's fiction or real life, wrong things will always be wrong. Not to mention that what you just said is a complete insult to literally EVERY highly appreciated piece of literature out there. Most people like a manga/manhwa/manhua SO much more when the characters emotions are properly shown and conveyed and actually have realisim to them. Being able to properly show how interesting, nice, or fucked up someone's emotions/thought processes are, is true talent and is highly valued. As a literature geek, this is seriously BEYOND disrespect. The problem is that just how fucked up Kang is is never properly shown, and it's rather covered up by this "oh-so-sad-and-traumatic-past" to try and justify his actions. If you can't even make a character what they truly are just because you don't WANT them to be bad, then make a different character and give up on this one, because you obviously don't have what it takes to create a story like this that people actually like... And I don't just mean people like you who romanticize rape. If you want to make a fucked up character likeable, (although considering how horrible Kang is, he's never gonna be likeable) there's a thing called character development, and he's not getting ANY of that. It's all just trying to justify the characters actions, instead of him reflecting on them. Now, he could be a wonderful evil, fucked up character with how many screws he has loose, it's just that the author is absolutely unable to emphasize on that and really SHOW the true nature of Kang, meaning that they took on a character and a story that they can't properly deal with. THAT'S what makes this story so bad.

i couldn't agree more. to defend a rapist in fiction or irl is disgusting. there is no excuse for rape, and the fact that some people still want them to end up together is even more disgusting. to forgive someone for a major crime because they're "hot" is equally disturbing. nothing can justify rape. not to mention that kang has done it multiple times. his character is gross and like @Monizetta said the author tries to cover up this fact with his tragic backstory. oh and lets not forget that even when the friend of kang found out about it he still did nothing. i am very disturbed that some people can turn a blind eye on something as major as this when it doesn't suit their likings. anyway, i'm glad you commented this. :)

please. i can't even seem to take you seriously at this point. to romanticize rape is so gross, even if it is fiction. and the fact that you still want to him and the mc to still end up together is equally gross. rape is never okay, i don't understand how many people need to tell you this. yes this is fiction, but rape is still never okay and it never will be. you call me stupid yet you defend kang because you find him attractive...? i don't understand how anything in this story could be okay. rape? blackmailing? like wtf do you see good about this?

You have no real comebacks, so I'll take it that since I made a good point, you find it hard to properly respond. Either way, I'm not "trashing" the author, I'm being honest about how their work is not thought-out at all. This manwha is bad beyond belief, because it fails to convey any proper emotions at all and while the author tries to take on a complicated character such as Kang, they completely fail to show what kind of person he truly is. If you make a bad book, it's not "trashing" the author when someone points that out. If you don't even know that much, perhaps you shouldn't be making some sort of "review" trying to explain this load of bullshit to people, because there's nothing to explain. Rape is a crime and cannot be justified in ANY context, especially just because the character/person is "hot". So, with basic knowledge finally out of the way, I hope you understand now.

Clearly you know nothing about writing. Characters don't need to show proper emotions, and if they really acted and felt the way humans do, the story would be a colossal flop, impossible to even construct.
Your idea of being honest about trashing the author is the exact same as you saying you believe it's okay to rationalize blatant, transparent lies. What you've said is TRASHING THE AUTHOR.
No one should ever write about rape - that's what you're saying. Don't try to deny it. By your ridiculous rules, you would even be forbidden to write about rape here, in your own comment. Again, do not try to deny that this is what you're saying. Quote, "Rape cannot be justified in ANY context." If there's no justification "in any context" then there's no justification in writing about it. I'm thinking you're a lunatic.
bruh who the hell asks someone to take care of their fucking rapist and blackmailer, like why the fuck should junho care
