For me i think lynda loved Katherine romantically some time before she betray her, i mean she was so angry to at her to the point that it looks like she was almost obsessed with Katherine, the only thing that keep her of beimg that obsessive was because of her guilt she had done to Katherine. I don't think that Lynda's love was off just a dear friend to katherine no one would go such through lenghts (like being the one who killed her)if you don't love that person romantically. At one time too Lynda vividly envisioned herself with Katherine and Eileen, imagining if Ulrich was not there they could lived happily.

i definitely got that feeling too...and wow i didn’t even think about that perspective: that she had to have loved her in order to help her kill herself.

That’s just proves that she love katherine so much that she’s willing to end her misery, she chose to let go katherine to finally have peace and just shoulder the guilt and hatred she feels for herself and for her love ones

i find it admirable that Lynda chose to rectify her neglect of Eileen in the end. and i do love your perspective! yes it was love as well as her atoning for wronging both of them.

    Was that not obvious???
Lynda loved Katherine romantically but such was not the case for Katherine. She unfortunately liked men ugh.

When Katherine told Lynda about her plans so run away with a man (Richard) Lynda got anxious cause the thought that Katherine might leave her behind scared her and hence in an attempt to stop her from doing so she tattled to the Fuckwit- I mean Lord rose.

There was something deeper going on too. The fuckwi- I mean lord Rose was obsessed with and abusive to Katherine hence her only solace was Lynda.
Lynda was the only one who brought Katherine happiness and she(Lynda) knew it and loved it. But when Katherine said she had someone she loved and wanted to run away with Lynda felt betrayed and threatened.

Fuckkkk Lynda why'd you have to do that???

Also Ben Cooper (The footman) was in love with Lynda. Too bad for him his love had already loved and lost and now is atoning for her sins.

I'm really curious as to what Lynda's sentence was. When I see Lynda I feel as if I'm looking in the mirror maybe that's why I'm so harsh on her.
