Well Wangye gonna be an ass. He slept with a manwhore and Yu'er saw it. He kept ignoring Yu'er even when Yu'er gave him the red bean pendant which mean you only give it to your loved one as a totem of your love, Wangye drop and crush it with his foot (actually he has no idea what that pendant mean). After that Dairou(the evil girl) accused Yu'er cheating and trying to run away from Wangye and then Wangye punish him. Later on, Yu'er start to know his place, his heart is broken. He move to a warehouse, doing server work, cutting wood, wash clothes, etc. After a few months he ask to met Wangye and give him a book which content with all the chores he has been doing as a repayment for his freedom. He ask to leave and Wangye let him go. He go to his previous house to met his mother but the guard said his mother already taken by someone important and didnt know who was it. The master wont tell him. He come back to Wangye to ask for his mother, (after this I forgot what happen if Im not mistaken Wangye kingdom attacked and the emperror made his as fugitive), Yu'er taken by the emperror and keep him hidden in one of his paviliun. Yu'er just stay in there while the emperror try to flirt with him but he kept refuse. Until Wangye get caught and arrested and then they met him to ask about his mother whereabouts, this time Wangye being an ass again. Playing with Yu'er feeling till Yu'er help him get out of the prison. And then Wangye attacked the palace and claim the throne. He talk with the emperror about their real purpose, the emperror want Yu'er clan treasure which can be access only with the heir unique little finger bone (Remember when the emperror save Yu'er he keep looking at his hand, he is trying to make sure if Yu'er really is the heir) and Wangye spit out all his plan here. He already know about Yu'er true identity and all that happen are his plan but he never kidnaped Yu'er mother till the emperror told him Yu'er mother whereabout as an exchange for his lifr.Then Wangye search for Yu'er mother which is in another prison in the palace (yup, the real kidnaper is the emperror, he is the super ass) and Yu'er mother got killed by the emperror soldier :(
When Wangye hold her, she no longer breathing and thats when Yu'er saw him. Yu'er thought he is the one who killed his mother. Yu'er so mad, he chase him away from his mother. He hate Wangye to the bone at this time. And Wangye bring him back to the north kingdom, Yu'er trying to kill himself by taking poison after gave wangye his little finger bone (he cut it himself T.T), and went to coma. Wangye panicked, he didnt want to lose Yu'er. Asking many doctors to bring back Yuer. He realize he alredy fall in love with Yu'er here. After sometimes Yu'er woke up, and he can speak again, tge first word he said is "Wangye" T.T but Yu'er really afraid of him. He dont want to get close to Wangye. Even though Wangye trying so hard to win him again, making him his real empress, move ouside the palace just as Yu'er wish. And then Yu'er relative show up. A guy from his Clan, Chu Clan. And then Yu'er follow this man to the hidden where chu clan lives. Wangye follow them but he disguise himself as a mute bodyguard of Yuer. The head of the clan asked Yu're to marry the guy to continue the offspring of chu clan. They have a pill which can make man pregnant. Yu'er confused. anyway somehow Yu'er attracted to the mute bodyguard XD
Yup cause he think the body guard resembles Wangye but he is soo considerated. But he make a bet with childe Chu that if his husband didnt show up till the wedding time, he is agree to married him. And a few hours before the wedding (Wangye didnt show up, he didnt brave to show up before Yu'er again and decide to protect him in the shadow) the hun somehow attacked the chu hidden place, and Wangye took Yu'er with him to get help from his shoulder. They were surrounded by shoulders and Wangye let Yu'er run alone while he fight the shoulder to death. Yu'er panicked, he dont want to lose him too and ask the general to save him. When Wangye saved he is badly injured and they make up. After that Wangye took Yuer back to the palace, he become the emperor while Yu'er the empress. They had a baby boy and yeah rn the raw still on going..

Sure give it a read. Even though the seme act like an ass he repent of what he is doing. The real evil is emperor. Actually Wangye plan not involved emperror, he is gonna make Yu'er fall for him and then get the treasure himself. But The emperror ruin it, his pride made him an evil til he realize he is in love with Yu'er. And the emperror not only make Yu'er lose his mother, but when Yu'er around 3-5 years his parents being chased by the emperror shouldier. Its not Wangye, at that time he didnt knew that emperror already make a move and also didnt knew that the chu clan being chased is Yuer and his parents. Yu'er dad's death with several chu's people while Yuer and his mother save.

Did the Wangye ever find out that Yu'er never cheated on him?

He knows Yu’er didn’t cheat on him. Wangye is just taking advantage that the emperor likes Yuer and pushes him away. It’s all part of Wangye’s his plan. Acting cold to Yu’er is all part of Wangye’s plan bec Yu’er is his ticket to attack the capital. I swear the novel is good!
