Joowon's father wanted to get together because he wanted to separate Joowon and Haesoo.
Haesoo's mum said what she thinks about Joowon's father in ch86.

i mean not at first. their parents were together because they wanted to be. and then nope on and haesoo kind of ruined that for them. and then haesoo left taku in the dust. like it just doesn’t sit right with me.
they were just kids and really liked each other :/ haesoo wasnt trying to ruin everything, and even cried saying he’s scared of the way he feels for jw. he cant help who he likes.
Tbh I partly understand your issue with the parent situation,,, but with Taku: Haesoo literally said he’s not ready for a relationship but taku told him to just pretend. And was pushy with his advances. And their condition was literally a 1 month TRIAL relationship, not even a real one, because thats how unsure haesoo was. There’s nothing wrong with him leaving Taku lol
personally very annoyed at the outcome of this story. it seems selfish and inconsiderate if the other characters and it just doesn’t feel right.
