This is almost exactly I was thinking! I’m so upset because it was such a good story Idea but the webtoon itself is so bad. Also I was so confused because she literally showed that in her old life her parents got divorced so why did the author just randomly decide to kill them?? I just lost so many brain cells trying to figure out this story.
I thought it started out ok for maybe 10 chapters, but you’re right when you say the author got bored and threw random plots into the story. It’s way to fast and the MC must have some issues to get back at a bully by leading them to a serial killer. Another question, why do the MC’s friends not consider the bully almost getting murder crazy, like yeah I know your friend was beat up and it was traumatic, but almost murdering the guy is just plain scary.
Haha now that you're mentioning it this plot IS all over the place. Remember how one of the panels in the beginning had a picture of the mcs dad but older and alcoholic? But somehow in both timelines they died on that plane??!! Make it make sense lmaoooooo
Ok when going into this I was prepared for the whole I fell in love with myself idea and was actually interested on how it was going to turn out, but God damn did the author fuck themselves with this webtoon. I sorry but this is really bad...the pacing is off and the author basically does what a author should never do! It seems like the author got bored of their concept way too fast and kept adding a bunch of ideas in the webtoon and went with it. The side bl plot is the most bare bones basic ass bl side plot I have ever seen. I hate when boys that act more "feminine" try to act a way that they are not. Especially cutting the hair a super short style and then it magically becomes more feminine, when the boy is all cured and shit. Gives me fucking boku no pico vibes and I want that shit out of my brain, so I hate that reused character arc the most.
Now back to the main story:
The whole idea of being reborn as another person and actually accidentally falling in love with yourself is a very interesting idea, if done right! This just ruined it right from the start when the mc old body fell for the mc as soon as the plot started. The author did this so fast that they literally ran out of ideas and added a fucking kidnapping? Like...what? Is that your idea of a bonding moment? Also the mc literally kills them all, without any gun experience and everyone is just fine with it? Yo....I know you the victim, but is anyone going to be like.."hey...are you okay? I mean you just kill multiple people, without flinching, and the only trauma that you got was you lost your voice?". Like wtf?!?! Also I guessing a man wrote this because the female friendships seem off to me? Maybe it's just me but I find it hard to believe female writers would ever write a female like the maid. She is so pervy and weird and I never had a friend that took my panty pic like wtf?!? The whole period thing was weird too because they kept saying tampons but are showing and describing pads? ...well anyways ; these people are batshit crazy! Ok I get the boy is getting bullied very bad, but you sick motherfuckers bring the bully to a mother fucking serial killer!!!!! Like who, what, when, where, and wtf?!? I would definitely consider that attempt in murder. Also, fuck the author for killing off the parents like that and then turning it into a moment for the mc! "Wahhhh...how could I forget my parents died on a plane and didn't do anything to stop it..wahh!" That's bs the mc never mentioned anything about his past parents dying until they were dead again. Also why not throw the new parents away too! I guess the author hates the parents, for some reason and decided to nuke all parents from the webtoon. Like those were the only parents in this story and they fucking get killed off.
Ok...by now my "review" turned into a messy, unorganized, rant, but I just had to vent about this trash webtoon. Yes I'm being kinda mean, but this shit ain't it. It's boring, triggering, inconsistent, and rushed. I hope the author grows from this and makes some amazing works in the future, but I suggest they dropped this and throw it in sangwoo house, put it in the wall next to his mother and the webtoon obey me, seal that shit back up, and then watch everything burn. Didn't finish and I won't finish this. Good day ;)
