I understand what you're saying and i kindaaaa agree but i dont think it was wrong for him to not consider him a potential lover. ..
He was straight and he wanted to set boundaries
If anything the seme was touchy and just a bittt forceful in his affection towards the uke he touched and kissed him even though the uke rejected him and whatnot
this was a bit lacking for me... not sure if the story wasnt well delivered bc of the translation but i did not like the fact that the uke didnt really treat the seme as a potential love interest for the first half of the story, gets a bit homophobic most of the time with “we cant do this or that, we’re both guys!!” then jumps to suddenly pushing him down on the bed to get down and dirty??? LOL i cant keep up..... even in the end i felt that bc the uke was a little inexperienced he’s just accepting whatever the seme does to him because they’re “close friends”
