Personally I like that in their writing they touch on the dark underbelly of society but I will say some works do make me uncomfy
most tiktokers haven't even read the stories. they only post shit about the art styles. i dont even bother with them cause they dont know crap
Lololol i don't use tiktok but wth dark themed stories doesn't mean it's bad writing. What I like about Harada is that yeah some of her stories are effed up but like she's so wicked good at writing them. The way she sets up the panels, the pacing, the writing itself. Bruh i got cut off . But yeah I feel that Harada's approach to dark stories differs from others in that the dark twists that are infamously incorporated are slowly developed. Idk how to explain like usually w other stories sometimes the dark aspect can feel so sudden or forced but w Harada it just slowly creeps into the story . Like everything is normal and then bOOM . The gradual approach makes the dark stuff even more disturbing for me (￣∇￣")

Right! The only ones from Harada that are big are ni-chan (don’t know if I spelled it right) and Color recipe and ppl just read those and are like wtf is wrong with them. Give their other stories a try damn
Right like I think Harada is rly good at storytelling and I like that her characters are kinda realistic in the way they deal with it bc I think ppl think that when trauma happens people have to take time and deal with it but for a lot of people they tend to laugh it off or try to continue with their lives and sometimes breakdown which Harada shows rly well (ex. Yatamomo)
Yeah I mean good for recognizing those mangas but let’s not forget our roots. When I started reading BL it was mostly b&w and I still prefer those to the new Color ones. Like these days ppl be starting on KS & BJ Alex whereas I started on Junjo romantica & YBC. Also if this site gets taken down bc ppl keep putting it on tiktok im coming for necks
