Okay so 100 000 yen is approx 1000$ which is less than I thought so it's better but still kinda sucks
People in other countries find it a pain to report things like that to police where nothing will happen anyway so instead they move on

Oh okay thanks, it just annoys me bc in that case it's a pretty real thing where people don't do anything about it and no one gets punished, which can incite that behavior due to the low risk of being "caught". Lol I just really hate thievery
Same with me but the frustration of many at the incompetence or inaction from law enforcement makes them just lose hope in seeing justice get served
I really don't like it in manga when a character gets their money stolen from their ex-partner and END UP DOING NOTHING ABOUT IT?? Bruh if you're gonna put that trope in your manga don't make it a passing remark
