No, the first princess refers to the crown princess, aka Eshahilde (MC's older sister who married the crown prince). She had numerous miscarriages, I guess this one is her first.
oh thank god. I thought the end of that chapter was talking about the princess he was supposed to get engaged to when he decided to marry his current wife instead. I thought he cheated on her while she was pregnant & still had the balls to confront her (after ?? years of being a distant, negligent parent & spouse HIMSELF) about being a bad parent. this has been bothering me all goddamn day I feel so relieved i could cry
