Is it good?

Yes! It goes kinda downhill in the second half of the story for me personally, but still entertaining nonetheless. But the first half is really interesting! Do read.

Only problem was the characters were so messed up that there wasn't a single one I truly liked. It kind of turns into a philosophical lecture by the end. The art is functional but not anything special.

Totally agree! Once the arc with L ended, I just lost all interest and couldn't keep reading. The final scene/chapter seemed pretty interesting though, so I make pick it back up just to read it.
