Yes, sadly as he was hallucinating and seeing sangwoo he got hit by a car which koogi later confirmed was suegbae accidentally killing him, making a tragic ending for all three of them.
Why do people invent things? Seungbae running Bum over is just implied and a fans' speculation. Koogi never confirmed it.
