Yo thanks for this comment bc it helped me understand Eren more... It's so hard to defend him now and deep within I am starting to resent him but I still can't because I know everyone's a victim of their circumstances. I really wanted to understand why he resorted to his decision and now thanks to your comment I'm starting to realize why.
This world is chaotic. We may not feel it because we mostly stand in the middle of the hierarchy, but we do not live the lives of those who are so hungry they just dig a hole and wait for their death, who would run away just to escape their debts, who would struggle to live normal lives when the world views them as a charity case or a scrap of garbage.
Call me a psychopath, but if I had the power to destroy the world, I would. To free all the unfortunate should trapped in their physical form that was sadly born at the bottom of the hierarchy, to free the souls held prisoner by their greed, to let those who have been running in the rat race for so long to rest. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
