It's devastating what happens, well up to where those scans let off.
The maid kidnapps her and they end out of the barrier. The marquess gets so close to rescuing her but it doesn't happen. The go through the barrier and then the maid dies, the illegitimate son of the other marquess house we heard about happens to stumble across her and rescues her and then we find out what hollows are.
They bury the maid and then set off.
