Twitter have roleplay and back then we have the infamous ulzzang acc where people are famous just for being hot/cute and isnt there a yt gay "couples" So this isn't far-fetched. Loveteams are famous be it straight or gay as long as they're cute/handsome and have "chemistry"

Also the japanese really likes doing like weird pranks like “what happens if your male friend pushes you down for real”. Some ppl don’t like fake couples, but real couples are also cute.
They have BL cafés in Japan where people will basically come in and pay for the workers to do scenes.
Is this a real thing that happens in Japan or is this just a fantasy world for this mangaka? Cus, my immediate impression is that fujoshis have begun to rule to world and the male reaction to fujoshi culture is to play into it... It's legitimately softcore gay for pay.
