From what I can tell the guy best friend it's going to like them for who they are doesn't really care if they become a boy or a girl but the girl best friend seems like she will like them if they become a boy but if they become a girl her feelings are going to go away apparently that's what I can observe because we heard the guy best friend say that he wouldn't care if they became a girl or boy he just wanted them to choose a gender so that he would not die cuz we can tell right now that apparently genderless people in the society. After a certain point of becoming genderless. so I'm honestly rooting for the guy best friend because he seems like he likes them for them and not waiting for them to become a guy or a girl but she does want them to choose a gender so that they don't die.
to some degree Im with you, but at the same time I dont think you can force someone to feel attracted to a gender they just aren't attracted too. like you cant force gay people to be straight and I dont think they are selfish because they cant feel that way.
It’s very frustrating to read about how their two best friend are wanting them to choose a gender. Shouldn’t they love them no matter what gender? Honestly I can’t tell if they love the person or just love them because they seem girly or manly. Gender shouldn’t be the thing the main character is worried about, it should be about which person they want to be with. And if they don’t like either than that’s just what it is then.
