One thing different from the released manga chapter and the WN, is that her brother actually told her upfront that the Saint and ML love each other. Felicia thinks her brother just wants to hurt her even after she is gone from their kingdom, because she just told him she wanted to be loved.Plus here the ML is named Claude not William.So at first she thinks she is to be married to some old guy because she doesn't trust her brother. As she is about to leave Grand Kurst, Felicia finally takes a look at the portrait of ML and remembers the past. She read a book about the Saint and the ML where Felicia dies in the end.She wasn't loved in her past life either. She decides to break off the engagement.

On reaching Claude's country she tells him that there is a custom in Grand Kurst for bride's to keep their faces covered with a veil before the wedding.It is a lie, she just doesn't want to get attached.This builds up rumours of her being ugly.These rumours were also being spread by her half sister back in Grand Kurst.She is assigned two maids.The servants are openly hostile.Starving her, the only time she gets to eat is during her weekly dinners with Claude(ML). She still has her herbs with her.

The saint Sarah is nice though.When they first meet she acts all subservient to Sarah because she doesn't want to anger her and because of how important she is to the people here.But Sarah is embarrassed because she thinks she is not comparable to the princess. She invites her to a tea party, for which she bakes herself too.Felicia is finally happy to get solid food:blobcry:.Sarah wants to see her garden which makes her happy but before she can say anything she is rudely interrupted by the servants who think she is tiring their saintess and ask her to go study:blobunamused:
She and Felicia dance together in the welcome ball. Ofcourse this starts a rumours that the evil FL forced the innocent saint to dance. Sarah's escort Frederick wants her to end up with Crown Prince because he thinks they like each other. Plus it would be better for Sarah whose life is under constant threat. So he doesn't like Felicia either. He likes Sarah but hasn't realised it yet
Spoiler: Town visit
Felicia has a pet hawk called Zen who leads her to the town doctor, Darren. He used to be her mother's doctor and would come play with Feli in her childhood. After Felicia is poisoned by her sister he starts teaching her about herbs to protect so as to herself. As Felicia leaves the palace to meet him.she meets Claude who recognises her but she thinks he doesn't because she is not wearing a veil.There is a parade that day but he hasn't told her about it because there is a plan to assassinate the saintess and blame Felicia for it.He follows her to Darren's house.Felicia tells Darren that she has been living on herbs and water and he is worried she is going to eat poisonous weeds too. She tells him that she will break off the engagement and rent a house and live alone.
Claude enters to see them hugging and attacks Darren Felicia stops him.He is angry to hear Felicia introduce Darren as family.Claude is posing like an escort knight of the Saint and introduced himself as Elvis.Felicia introduces herself as Emma. Apparently second names are sacred in their country and only used by lovers.After that whenever Felicia visits Darren he drops in uninvited.She visits every three days,and she finally gets food at Darren's

When he was 12, Claude visited Kurst with his father.There he met Felicia,8 at that time, who told him about herbs.She tells him that she was poisoned by her sister.He likes talking to her.
Spoiler: IDIOT PRINCE
One of her two maids,Lyra, is actually an informant for the prince.She harassed her too,though not as much as the others, just enough to mix in.So Claude knows she was being harassed but kept quiet anyways because of the trademark douchebag logic of 'I wanted you to ask ME for help':notlikeblob:.In fact his weekly dinner were a gift for her since he knew she was starving for the rest of the week:blobangery:. Atleast her brother KNEW he was bullying her and wanted her to leave because she was not happy in Grand Kurst, while this guy dragged her here to be harassed again:facepalm:
And if that wasn't all, Idiot prince knows of the rumours. When Sarah says they should clear up the misunderstanding he stops her....:blob_zipper_mouth:
Spoiler: Poisoning
Finally Felicia wants out of the the engagement:blobparty: She asks Lyra to inform the prince on the day of their dinner much to Rebecca's happiness. Rebecca is her other maid who is a fan of the saintess. She goes to dinner where Sarah is also present.She is unhappy to be here with these two happily talking Infront of her without honorifics (idiot prince talks very formally with her) but suddenly Claude turns the conversation onto her and has the audacity to be angry about her wanting to break-off the engagement:blob_thor::blob_thor::blob_thor:
( He hasn't cleared off any rumours yet and just brought her into a room with his supposed mistress where they are acting as if she doesn't exist....)
He stops the conversation for them to have desert. Felicia ends up getting poisoned but she stops Sarah and Idiot prince(why?!Why?!WHY?!:blobsob:) before they can eat the desert.But of course Frederick thinks evil Felicia is attacking the saintess before Felicia faints.Rebecca and the taster for the food were responsible for the posioning.They wanted to help the Saintess.Sarah is shocked. Idiot prince is being all murderous towards the servants who have harassed her. Frederick apologises for his behaviour but Idiot Prince says he will be punished later. Because of course idiot prince is blameless in this whole story:blobcat_knife:He has all the moral high ground here.
Felicia wakes up. She realise that Idiot Prince will probably kill the servants so she tells him to handover their punishment to her. Then Idiot Prince kisses her :blobcurse::blobcurse::blobcurse:and leaves.
Spoiler: Festival
The servants apologise and Lyra tells her the truth.Felicia is extremely angry, as she should be, when she comes to know that the prince just let her be harassed and about those insulting weekly dinners.
The saint Irene festival comes up next. That day all women include the saintess were masks as that day they belong to God.If any man wants to propose to the girl he loves he has to identify her,say her name and offer her a flower. If he says the wrong name, they can't marry.Felicia tells all the servants to wear the same mask as her and to stop the prince. Other girls In the country who want to be crown Princess also wear the same mask.When Felicia asks the Idiot Prince for permission to participate in the fest, he readily agrees. If it wasn't clue enough, Lyra and the other servants have already told him the plan. So of course after she has danced with a few people including Frederick who apologises to her, Idiot Prince drops infront of her again:blobtired:. She finds out that he was Elvis and is angry that he was always pretending with her.Claude says that he knows she is angry but to please not doubt him. And That's it. Thats the great apology. Even a single sorry would have more weight then what he said...
Then Idiot prince says that he will fulfill her wishes and turns to leave and of course Felicia stops him because she is now in 'Love'.He proposes and she realises it was all an act.He reveals that he knew she was being harassed and he didn't help her because he wanted her to rely on him. And because she didn't rely on him, HE was sad:blobcat_hyper:. So he emotionally manipulates her still the end but everything is cool now because Felicia is in love too:blobcat_rawr:

Apparently, the crown prince fell in love at first sight with Felicia back when they were kids when the ML and his father were at some party to create connections with Grand Kurst. He also knows about MC being mistreated back in her country and is determined to help but could not do anything since he's just a random prince from a small country. He was so happy when he got engaged with Felicia although the MC doesn't realize about the ML's feelings for her yet because of the rumors about him and the saint being intimate.
Spoiler: Brother of Felicia
MC's brother was the one who approached the crown prince and told him that he would make an engagement between the ML and Felicia since he knows that the crown prince is interested in her. He told the crown prince that he's willing to give him his "treasure" for him and told him to take care of her because Felicia wasn't treated right at the palace. ( I have a feeling the bro is a tsundere and based from the MTL he also bullies Felicia because he thinks it's fun to tease a cute person like her. SAY WHUTT :blobdizzy:)
Spoiler: The Saint
The saint and Felicia will become good friends. Plus, the rumors about her and the crown prince are not true at all. The crown prince actually pities the saint since she got transported in another world with no one to rely on so he became her friend. She also has a love interest but both of them deny that they have feelings for each other. I'm not sure but I think her love interest is either a knight (escort knight(?) or a priest (???)
