Except there’s a difference between historical accuracy- I.e. having historical fiction which features grooming, rape etc and romanticising bad shit which used to (and still does) happen.
The problem isn’t that this manga has grooming. The problem is that it treats grooming as romantic and the happy ending is the victim being thoroughly brainwashed.
There is an argument for fantasy (to an extent)- because you know irl that it’s unacceptable but there is definitely not an argument for historical accuracy because romanticising grooming etc is not historically accurate.
I just started reading this
But I have something to say I scrolled down the comments and everybody is saying"she's just 16 and he's 26 " let me explain
In ancient times nobody cared about age difference it was common for them plus like she works in a btothel and she's just 16 ( we find it strange and it's illegal in our time but in the past it was totally normal )
And she has the mind of 17 years old girl that lived 10 years in this world
