At first I had the same problem as you but the time goes the ways of earning gems increased. For example there are missions every week that give you 20 or maybe 50 gems just to read a chapter of new game. Another way is that you can earn it with daily 10 ads. Lastly the game giving you everyday 2 gems but it's not much. Anyway i still understand you some choices are wanting ridiculous amount of gems I have 82 gems currently and I'm still collecting ㅠㅠ
Basically it's a game where you can choose the option that giving you. For example;
A>> You look pretty.
You>> tf are u saying
>>I know
>> you too
You can choose one from these options and lead to the story the way you want. Is it clear now ? Ask me if you're still confused
