Maybe because she has "Ernst" in her name and she's already treated as the young lady of the Ernst family, even though we all know they're not blood related.
But seriously though, their dynamic...it just screams they're in love but don't know their feelings yet, the way they've gone through everything together and supported eachother. Also, I feel Johan sees Hari as a younger sister more than Eugene does.
Either way I'll be happy if she ends up with him, I'm worried about Eugene's fiance though, does she do anything?, Is she good?, does she love Eugene?

In the comments I’ve seen many people saying how uncomfortable they are with Eugene maybe being the ml. Why? Think about it- her and Eugene only spent time with each other for a few years when they were younger before Eugene left and then came back later on. Everyone in the family also knows that she isn’t blood related to them in the least bit.
The way I see it, In the case of this story, the relationship dynamic between the Mc and Eugene can also be CONSIDERED as that of childhood friends. I’ve read many stories where two childhood friends (who can be considered as close as “family”) that were always CONSTANTLY together end up falling in love with each other in the end, and people usually don’t see anything wrong with it and instead find it heartwarming.
