No chemistry

First, the baby face lets himself be taken advantage of. Second, just as the giant says, the baby face brushes off all his affections and even transgressions. The baby face sleeps wantonly while forcing to be friends with the giant, whom I understand why he says he hates it (because he thinks he is soiling him). Third, while I understand that there is a need to show that the giant is basically unattracted to women or the baby face being lax with others but distant with the giant... It becomes a disadvantage when it proves that they just have no chemistry together. Like, the story becomes more poetic when they're separated and bland when they're together.

Last, it doesnt give off that "better together" vibe especially since it ended abruptly. The giant had shown more character growth while the baby face just keeps falling from there. It's pitiful to watch.

(and yes, that manager was let off so easily, just like how the baby face simply accepts whatever injustice is done to him. And his coworkers really just said "they had no prejudice" (︶︿︶)=凸)
