I think it's a case of far too many absurd actions happening with their explanations making very little sense. All I'm hoping that unlike the Fyodor arc, all the actions take won't be 'cleverly' explained by Dazai because a logical explanation doesn't exist. Basically, plot convenience is the main issue. Plus, an ability that can cut through time? Really? I don't even want to get into the logistics and paradoxes of that. The story is clever just because it's supposed to be clever, not because it's written that way. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ At least, that's my opinion.

hmm fair enough but i mean one of the characters can literally turn into a tiger. the other one can manipulate the world's viewpoint. another one can bring a samurai out of their phone. everything in here is absurd, time travel doesnt really phase me anymore. also, it's not his ability, it's just some sort of ancient blessed weapon, god knows what that is
Am I the only thinking that the new chapters are just dropping in quality? An ability to cut through the past? Really? A vampire? Are you serious? The characters here are playing 6D chess to the degree that the author just explains whatever bs happened through a 'clever' character like Dazai, Ranpo, Mori or Fyodor because the plot wouldn't actually make sense through logic. These characters are smart due to plot convenience, not cleverly written like Light, Erwin or even Lelouch.
