I don't agree, I feel her character is very childlike and naive, so she doesn't think too deeply about the consequences of her death for two reasons: 1 she knows she isn't going to die and because she is just like a child she feels removed by the concept of death and its consequences (children most of the time can't grasp the permanence of death); 2 to her they are just characters from a book.. in her mind she doesn't really belong in the story because she is not the real Liberta, so all she wants to do is save a few of her favorite people an then leave, if you ask me it's a very human response (if you were sent to the world of one of your books the only way you would survive is by making yourself believe you didn't belong and not think about all the people you left behind and won't be seeing ever again).
Your logic doesn't work because you only think in the terms "this is the real world" while she thinks along the lines of "this is the world of the book". If you don't believe me go read Miss not-so sidekick, she lived in the world of the novel for years and yet she still believed it was just the world of a book she didn't belong to (there is actually a chapter in witch she realizes that).
In the end I feel that the FL is very quite human, much more then many other iskai stories and you can absolutely feel how her own naivety can help her survive a situation that frankly would send another person insane (waking up in somebody else's body in world where you know no one and are destined to die)
Well this is my reasoning for why I like the FL and the author.

sorry for the over explanation. i disagree on some parts, i feel like her being naive is a way she's surviving, i also think that just constantly thinking that she's gonna die isn't good, like be naive and carefree instead of depressed all the time. she transmigrated into a book she read so i feel like she's thinking 'oh these are the books characters' and even if she isn't thinking like that, the book said no one liked litia so she wasn't expecting much in the first place. she just thought that if she gonna die or move in a year might as well save the people who died for ariel (i think thats the blue haired girls name).if she were shallow she wouldn't have saved any of them and just escaped the palace. her admiring his body wile he cries was a misunderstanding on her part, they did just drink alcohol so she thought it was alcohol making him express more emotions than usual (again) in the book she read he didn't express many emotions, so she thought alcohol makes people express and say more than usual, but i do admit that even if that happened for her to drool over his body while hes crying is still... weird. anyways i think over explained and i haven't seen someone comment there dislike for a character without being so rude so thank you.
But am I the only one who sort of dislikes the FL? She seems to be a very shallow person, with all her depth of character being that she's a transmigrated soul. I am actually hopeful that when Daniel comes, she'll form a much healthier relationship with him than with the other MLs. She's selfishly intervened in their lives, and yet seems to view them as nothing more than simple characters who won't be affected if she 'died'. Like, you formed a relationship with them, and somehow you think that they won't be at all affected when someone they consider a friend dies? The only thing on her mind is 'hot bodies'ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
which makes sense for a fangirl, but not if those people are her friends. If my friend was crying, I wouldn't be admiring their physique so, like what Σ(っ°Д °;)っAll she's done is be a saviour for them, she's never been a friend to them despite what her words might indicate. Her actions are incredibly cruel and I don't really like her anymore. (/TДT)/
Now I'm continuing to read to know about the original Libertia's past and for the sake of seeing Daniel. Very disappointing FL.
