Women in yaoi

I love this one, maybe more than the others. I mean, between Shingo and Keichi it's kinda always the same story; here it changed a bit.
But what I miss, is women. I mean, for exemple, why Rio isn't a girl? I think that in every iii the men are awesome and capable and the women either have an insignificant role or play the bitch.
I know I brought it upon myself reading yaoi but sometimes I'm just really depressed seeing how woman mangaka just underestimate women.

women are not the point of yaoi so it makes more sense than not to NOT see them playing an important role in YAOI. on the flip side, i don't read yuri but i wouldn't expect men to play a significant role in that so it goes both ways. it almost seems like you're making this out to be about something it's not.

honestly, I would love to see a bl couple or just a gay character incorporated into something in which its main genre is not bl/yaoi and NOT be a raging stereotype. bet you'd be hard pressed to find examples of that. i certainly remember more yaoi where the females are not bitches even tho they are overall still insignificant, because again it's not about them, than i can about the criteria i mentioned in both manga and anime.

but don't forget! you always have the best option at hand- if you don't like it, you can always make your own!

Chill. I was just expressing myself and didn't mean to offend anyone so you didn't have to be so harsh.
I agree with what you said about gay men in manga other than bl that are not stereotyped; you can't really find them. Well, then maybe you should give me the name of those manga cause for those I've read, most of the women are bitches.
I know they're not the point and maybe I'm just getting too old for reading manga cause all of them are too stereotype and the subject don't mix. Women can't be important in bl, gay can't be anything than gay in other manga, etc.
I just really dislike in this manga when talking about Rio's mother they just decided to sent her money cause most mother are pictured that way in bl which is a cliché too.
Oh trust me I wish I could, sadly I'm a shit at drawing.
    Anyway, have a nice day

yup I think so too!!!! sometimes yaoi are just too full of testosterones (wich is one of the best thing in them ihih ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
but...I mean...they could put some "sister's character" here and there...even a few moms would be nice...

too lazy to name Yaoi's with girls, hmm but I'll try my best.

    Home Tutor (Kaede's female classmate)
Elektel Delusion (The Uke's sister, she's mean but cuz she's worried to her bro)
Ameiro Paradox (The Seme's sister, she's cute)
Doushiyoumo Nai Keredo (The Seme's ex wife, she's incredibly nice, and the Seme's rival, she's actually pretty funny, although antagonist)
Sekaiichi Hatsukoi (Onodera's Fiance, she's actually thoughtful and nice)

and a lot more, i sux at titles, these are just the few i remember lol

    Ps. Kimbo ain't mean =)
