Maxi and Riftan meet each other when we're kids under an oak tree and from that moment Riftan always have been in love with her.

Maxi's family: Duke abuse both his daughter but in different way. Rosetta will get married with the prince and will have a baby., she will be the future Queen.
Her father married Maxi's mom because of her fortune and choose Riftan for Maxi because he was the best knight. As the Duke was supposed to go in the war and only a direct member of his family can take his place, so he married Maxi with Riftan.

Maxi will realized that she has magic powers. Roth will help her to control them and she will go in the war with Riftan, but the battle is really hard and she will get hurt and will have a miscarriage...
After that Riftan will choose not to tell her about the baby and will send her in the castle with princes Agnes to be safe.

In the castle Maxi will meet with her father and he will tell her that she lost the baby and that she is embarrassing him as Riftan abandoned her and he doesn't want her anymore. Maxi will be heartbroken so she will follow her father back to his estate. Duke will abuse Maxi multiple times. He will force her to undress and will wipe her. Riftan will arrive at that moment (Rosetta will help him to get in) and will beat up the Duke (he will have killed him if the knights didn't stopped him). Rosetta will help them to escape the estate before Duke's knights arrive and they will go at an inn. Riftan will ask Maxi for how long that was going on and he will finally learn all the truth. That moment is so sad as poor Maxi thought that Riftan abandoned her because she lost the baby and send her back..

After that Riftan will declare war toward Duke but Rosetta will beg him not because that will devine the country in two as Riftan's and Duke's knights are the best in the empire. Duke make connections with some powerful people to destroy Riftan, then Maxi will decide that she want to go with Agnes in the tower to gain more power to help Riftan and his people.. she knows how much he loves Anatol. Riftan will be against it and will tell her that if she leave he will not wait for her.

Maxi will take the ship to go to learn more about her power and she waits for Riftan until she can't see the port anymore but she didn't saw him and that made her sad. Riftan arrived in the port but the ship was already far he start crying and telling that he lied he will wait for her..

3 years later Maxi will be undercover for the tower and she will meet with Riftan. Both were awkward and they didn't know what to say. After they completed their mission Riftam will take her in his room and they will finally will have a conversation..

That is the last chapter of the novel as for now the author is taking a break because she was sick...

I can't wait for the chapters when she realizes her magic power. Its horrible though that she has a miscarriage and blames herself.

I would like to add to the heart clenching scene where ruftan arrived at the port and cried saying that he lied and will wait for her..........

Riftan fervently attempted to jump and swim to follow Maxi's ship. He was not able to because the knights who escorted Maxi to the port jumped at him and held him down. So yes. He cried like a baby infront of his knights. Thats how sad he was.

Had to add. Coz this scene broke my heart to pieces

I spoiled so much that my comment was way to long already. But yeah some scenes makes you sob like a baby..
When she learn about the baby her reaction broke my heart and then when her father were abusing her she just accepted thinking that nobody loves her and she doesn't deserve happiness, I cried..
But Riftan's sadness was one of the most painful moments..

I can't wait for the author to get better and continue with the story. I want them to be happy they deserve it
