I know people might think it's shallow; but being a big eater myself and having lived in Japan, this is so goddamn relatable. In my experience, no one outright said anything (apart from my coworkers/friend's families) but the lingering stares... maaaan. So like, typical Japanese portion sizes are already smaller (compared to US/UK), so I'd often get double my order and then some eg 2 katsu curry sets + gyoza or an extra large bowl ramen with extra noodles.
Whilst this manga doesn't have the best writing/characterisations imo, I really like the strong-willed FC, the focus on trusting your partner, consent obvs, and women supporting women theme throughout. It's just so fucking rare in shoujo/josei.
