I don't really know what this story is about or anything and I'm not going to read it because I don't like shota, but I saw this comment on the main feed and I have to say that I detect a note of slut-shaming here. I don't understand your contempt for ukes who enjoy sex.

I kinda agree with u. I hate girly guy and this's why I hate girls in shoujo but here we find same thing in yaoi, sometimes there is nothing different between yaoi and shoujo because some guys in yaoi act like weak girls sometimes.

This is actually really true, mangas really feminize the more receptive partners to the point where it looks appears to be a heterosexual couple (no tot judge any couple's dynamics, but usually there is no designated 'uke' and 'seme' in a homosexual relationship).
I feel that yaoi really misleads readers in that it makes people believe that there has to be a feminine and masculine role. It's bases a gay relationships on the stereotypical structure of a relationship, so instead on 2 guys it's more of a guy and girl.
Though I get why the genre appeals to readers, girls especially. Regular shoujo makes the girl seem weak and basically unable to do anything but pine over a boy. As a woman, the level of dependence on a guy for happiness in these mangas personally disgusts me. But with yaoi, it makes the characters 'relatable'. Like hey, they have emotions and prone to have feelings too, maybe not all guys are dick bags. It's messed up because the story line is usually the same, all the mangaka did was change the sex of the 'female' character, but there's a completely reception.
I'm not sayng this is true for everyone, but it's just my thoughts on it.

damn. if we met in real life we would be friends. but hey i agree with you. while i love yaoi and so on, i also don't like how it bases the structure on the stereotypical relationship - heteronormative. it misleads reader and creates a false sense of knowledge. but then again, this is how they are able to make profit. much like the saying "sex sells", i think "stereotypes sell"

But you know, your reply to me was rather logical and I agree with your reply to anime&manga, in fact this is why I don't save most of the yaoi I read to my list, because they're just no good and overall very cliché, but your profile page suggests a violent and unhealthy hatred towards these ukes, even wanting them to die, and gendered and homophobic slurs everywhere and I feel it's a huge contradiction with the logical response you just gave me? I'm not a fan of those types either, but don't you think wanting them to suffer is a little extreme? They are literally just lines on a paper. Moreover, there are certainly more than a few unlikable semes too, but you only have a death grudge on the ukes? Practically every seme is just as annoying as the ukes.

None of this is any of my business, but it's very unhealthy for you too, you know. There are manga that I absolutely despise, but I don't go and make lists and albums about how much I hate them. Just focus on the things you like, dude, and ignore the things you don't.

Oh yeah it probably looks disturbing, but is not what you think lol me and some friends share this account besides the ones they have. I don't own one, I just use this to comment. There's any kind of misogyny or homophobia or anything you just said, since some of them are actually gay... The page, lists or anything were created by them because they wanted to prove how yaoi is pretty much the same than other literature or Manga (things I don't really care about) . He is counting the many times author do the same, even using the same lines. Don't ask me anything, cause I barely know but they even have a YouTube channel about it, and many other things. But well... I do enjoy violence in shows, books, movies and pretty much everything, since is just fictional. Not only towards men, is not what you think haha. They are probably going to delete everything once they're done with that, they are already on it. Ah and another thing. The way we reffer to the uke is nothing different from how we treat each other lol but we love each other

As you just said "it's just paper" everything is fictional, happy or tragic endings. Some of us like some darkness and others love every single job from Minami Haruka(that's why the albums are so different from each other, like the positions one, they also suckers for ukes and find them hot lol) I don't get why are you so impressed lol like you just said you got in our page and probably you do that a lot with other people's pages so you should know everyone is different.
