Yeah I've seen readers who are as young as 11 yrs. old. It is definitely concerning. I know manggas like this are meant for those who fetishize bxb actions but it still rubs me the wrong way. So i tend to steer away from yaois and stick to shounen ai's.
Many are recent and came to tiktok, which concerns me since these are for older people with kinks/fetishes. It’s also always a good idea to read tags. Usually, it’s labeled just in case people are bothered. Shounen ais are definitely better for younger audiences.
Subcon are very common in yaoi stories and it ain't good to romanticize that knowing that majority of readers are young and susceptible to sexual predators. However, with that being said, it was mildly or fairly resolved here that is rare for these kind of manggas so I'm somehow at peace with it.
