I read the novel a long time ago so i don't really remember clearly but Dick and Yuuto finally can catch the villian. After that, Dick retired and moved to the countryside with his dog without telling Yuuto where he is. Yuuto found him and convinced him to be with each other. Dick refused Yuuto at first bc he thought he didn't deserve Yuuto. But when Yuuto was about to leave, Dick realized he couldn't live without him and ask Yuuto to stay. They made love and live happily together for the rest of their life
