the mother daughter relationship has never been bad. and the ML is the boy with blue eyes (I don't want to spoil anything too much). this story is really good so please do pick it up. aria is not a pushover like other story's. she is so cool (≧∀≦)
The ML is Asher, the man he met at the pawnshop/clock repair shop. She had a good relationship with her mother and eventually, when she separated from the Count’s family, she brought her mother with her. Their relationship is lukewarm. She hid things from her mother the things she did not want her to get involve with, like her revenge, et al. But she always wished for her happiness, when her mother’s love returned, she supported their relationship.. lol
