Idk dude like it was a good manhua 10 or something chapters ago but now it feels as if the artist doesn’t want to put an end to it and it’s kinda pitiful to see em struggle cuz it’s “plot” material!!
I guess it would be nice to see a middle class working people manhua for a change it’s like if you’re not filthy rich korean you don’t deserve love

I don't think this is cliché. It looks like something that would really happen in a very conservative Korean culture (except his father's approval). This story feels is closer to reality that it seems.

You’d think it might really happen cuz it literally all we’ve ever seen in kdramas...they make it seem it’s totally okay to beat up people and then pay em to shut up it’s true they had it coming but still!!
I mean they deserve a happy ending some peaceful life even if they had to let go of some people

Oh, that I agree with you.
If his parents don't support him, ditch them in a heartbeat.
If these people are not interested in being in his happiest and support his decisions as an adult, they don't deserve to call themselves his parents at all.

But about the beating, I've seen it happen. Is the reality we live in, where homophobia and racism and social class discrimination is still a thing.
