I know he holds responsibility, about the son-father relationship, I don't know what to comment about it, it does seem he was completely aware of his every move but there is not so much insight so far, there wasn't physical negligent so far it seems, emotional, well, I would like to judge myself, I don't know how they bonded, the son seemed specially mad at the mother, not the father.
I really don't know what kind of support he could have given her, in this particular case there wasn't so much importance in psychology in that era, and even less information about PPD, he could DEFINITELY do better, not shaming her for leaving her son once in a while would have being a good start.
I pity the whole family.
I prefer the way you write your ideas now, before it didn't sit with me.
Don't you love what this manhwa has done? I mean, the whole comment section is talking about PPD, psychology, the hardships of motherhood, infant abuse and negligence.
Yeah, I definitely think that it’s making it’s readers try to understand what is happening, and in the process everyone is looking deeper into mental illness and neglect. I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but I feel like everyone’s opinions are valid and there isn’t much disrespect going on
You can't just ridicule Ella and said she was a bad mother. She gave birth at such a young age and grieving for her father who died not long after her pregnancy.
She was depressed after giving birth and her husband is not really there because her father in law die as well, so he have to be the new lord. Things are hard and she can't even go socialise with other people (party or such)
She just wanted a little time for herself. Had her husband not ridicule her for going out things might have been different.
Both of them are equally to blame.
