In my opinion, it’s not very similar. Where one is placed in the feudal era, this is placed in a somewhat modernized school. It focuses less on war and more on everyday student life.

There are fight scenes, plenty in the beginning, but it mostly focuses on Ianna and the ML and the people around them. You will get your feel of fighting though.
