So, Koichi got the tattoo as a symbol for choosing to stay in the titan world instead of going back. I belive it's to seal the contract so that Caius wouldn't die, if that made any sense.

Okay I’m not new to this story I’ve been here basically from the start and I’ve been re reading chapters and I still can’t figure out how Koichi got that tattoo and it’s purpose. If anyone knows please tell me I’m very confused right now
