I had thought the same. When you look at who made it you can actually see that the same creator of Body Complex made this. It was probably a new ver. because this style is very popular right now and a few people also said it was to promote a mobile game of the story ? I'm not sure though, please don't take my word for it because I may be wrong about the last bit
