Somebody Else's BL Manga, comes to mind. There's an asshole pedo in it that befriends the MC and the people trying to blackmail him. And the high school kids let this sleeze ball groom them because they're desperate for advice on how to handle their love lives or just to connect to someone that is also gay. Then it's painful to watch the couples like each other but aren't able to admit it, just normal teenage angst stuff but at an unreasonable and accelerated level.
It’s the other manhwa created by the author of Love Shuttle, the whole thing made my chest tighten even though there wasn’t a satisfactory ending.
