The author really didn’t make some complex character. Given their track record they like dumb as rocks and piece of shit romantic combos. It’s simple as that. There’s no wow he’s just hasn’t found true love so he’s misunderstood. It’s your standard toxic BL but romanticized. That’s literally it.
It’s really not that deep. The author just gave us more insight that’s all. Nobody said anything about complexity. Nobody said anything about true love. Nobody looked up a track record. I really can’t stop laughing at the unnecessary aggression. Like you really said “I hate this author, yaoi, and comment.” Go somewhere else.
Even if you didn’t like the threesome, I think it gives us more perspective on what the doctor is really like. It explains why his friends were so surprised when he stated that he seriously liked someone. However, we really didn’t have context on why they were so surprised. I’m happy that the author gave us the threesome. It gives me more insight into the doctor, but so I’m excited to see this character development.
