Exactly!! First off she immortal, this story isn’t told in a modern setting, and she didn’t raise him. Yes she was in his life but not as a mother. Honestly I wouldn’t even be surprised if they made Anna and her nephew get together to keep the bloodline “pure” since that what they used to do in the past. People shouldn’t bring modern logic in a story that told in the past and have magic.
fiction is fiction. as long as you are not stupid enough to confuse fiction with reality you'll be fine. but if it's not ur cup of tea then stop making a fuss and stop reading it
