That was a bit too harsh, don't you think? I agree, he was a douchebag and a bastard in the past. He got shattered by Melissa a bunch of times before he realized that he had been a jerk, and he reflected on his actions and did the right thing and apologized to all the women, including Melissa. I don't see any stories out there like this one where such a character development happens. I see changes with Ian, I think he deserves a happy relationship with someone else, not necessarily Melissa. Everyone goes through some serious heartbreak or traumatizing experiences to go through changes. Ian just needs someone he truly loves, and someone who loves him equally. If anything, I feel bad for him, because he didn't get to know what love feels like, nor did anyone explain to him what one does once they're in love. Anyway, that's what I think, sorry if I wrote too much
Okay lemme point out some things. How did he reflect on his actions? By bleaching his hair? Showing his sorry face? Lmao. Him apologising is same as slapping someone for no reason and then saying sorry. Definitely not enough. I wouldn't necessarily call that a development but more of a potential (and not looking forward to that. He can go fuck his sorry ass for all I care). And no, I've seen better developments. And you really feel bad for him? For what? Fucking around with women and breaking their hearts? I'm sorry but whatever past you go through, this kind of behaviour is inexcusable. Periodt.
Lol, what do you want him to do other than apologize? Take his own life? I'm really disappointed that you can't see the character development because you are blinded by your own hatred for Ian. He knows he did wrong, and he apologized for it, that's everything one can do when one has made a mistake. Even you have made mistakes in your life before, so have I, and what did we do, we apologized for the mistake. Maybe they weren't as bad as what Ian had done, but he still apologized. I see you don't really know the definition of what reflecting on your own mistakes is. And anyway, I don't know why you even bring up the part where he bleached his hair, what the heck does that have anything with him reflecting on his mistakes? He did so by apologizing and admitting to his own fault, that's what reflecting means. You seriously have a foolish way of thinking, I agree he was annoying, but what the hell, you don't have to go and wish for someone to die. If a man in real life did this, and you wish for him to die, do you even realize how much of a fucking rude person you are, if you say stuff like that, you are no better than the one who actually made the mistake, we learn from mistakes. It's not like he went and committed homicide or arson, his mistakes can be forgiven and he can change as a person, and never do the same thing again. I mean, come on, put yourself in his shoes, you made a mistake and now that person hates you, they wish for you to die and experience an insufferable pain and you get your heart crushed several times, wouldn't you feel hurt? Ah, but now you would say that you deserve the hate or "I wouldn't make such a mistake," but now I'm talking about if you were in Ian's state. You reflect on your feelings and then you decide to apologize, but they won't listen, and still wish for you to die, wouldn't you do anything to get them to forgive you? Or become more depressed, feeling guilty, and regretting everything you did? Sometimes, you need to stop thinking so selfishly and think about what others feel too. I think Ian deserves to find the right woman to have a healthy relationship with. Melissa, on the other hand, I love how she handles situations, and I don't think she is going around hoping Ian to be dead like you are. Sure, she has her grudges with Ian, and she hates him, but have you ever seen her try to kill him, or saying that she wants him dead? No, because she knows that's not the right thing to say.
Mhm, now imagine if Ian was real, that's how he would feel like, that's where I'm trying to go here, and again, I apologize for my behavior, I realize I went too far with my language right there, ah shit, having a fever really sucks, anyway, uh. Yeah uhm, I just tend to snap out of it once people don't find hope for any characters that try to change. Again, I apologize. If I offended you in any way, I'll say to you right now that I just said everything on my mind, and I'd like to be as honest as possible, but seriously, I have a feeling you would want someone dead if they did this in real life and wishing another human being dead is a bit too extreme, because that won't change the fact that they made the mistake, the only thing it does it satisfy you. Ah shit, I did it again
Sorry but I DONT FEEL BAD FOR IAN, NOT EVEN THE TINIEST BIT. WISH HE GOES THROUGH EVEN WORST. Our poor baby Melissa went through such hardships because of him. FUCK IAN. Also he is ugly. Idc what you think.
