Ok this is kinda a stupid question, but in SL manga and manhwa you know when the “villainess” or mc is like “I will run away” but ask permission to leave and live quietly and the emperor/father is like no. I never get it. Like just run away if you run away and live quietly aint nobody gonna look for you if they hate you?
