i agree with everything but he's not a full grown adult. he's still a kid. that's why everyone puts up with what he says - they stated he was young, so not a threat. considering our FL was in her college years he's probably in his very young twenties. which is not fully grown - at least for an emperor.
Yes, I do agree that being an adult doesn't suddenly make you very mature, but if he's the current emperor, we can assume he's probably been through a lot training or something before becoming the emperor. You would think that training to and becoming the emperor of a whole empire would make him a bit more mature, but ig not in this story
I really dislike the emperor. I only kept reading this because the art is amazing and I love the protagonist. The emperor has a really irritating attitude, and while we haven’t seen if he has legitimate reason for being like that, he is a full grown adult and an emperor but is extremely immature. His reasons for disliking the empress are extremely stupid too. He dislikes her because his favorite concubine Lyn praises her, and she doesn’t actually seem to have ulterior motives. Like what?? What kind of reason is that to dislike her? He yells at the empress for petty reasons too, and although he may sometimes do it out of sheer habit, imagine how the empress feels being yelled out for stupid reasons. Especially by someone who literally cheers for her assassination. Like that one scene when he barges into her room and yells at her wearing onto bandages for her recent wound. Even he realized the stupidity of it. It’s like barging into someone’s house without invitation and yelling at them for coming out of the shower naked.
