If you went back to the past, during the early 1800's, won't you also refer to things that changed in the future and kept on recollecting to that certain point of time because your life is much more different compared to a transmigrated you in the 1800's? That's why generation gaps exist, the bigger the generation, the harder for older generation to adapt but they adapt nonetheless. She practically woke up in a different era, literally skipped 4 generations at that, it's more unrealistic if she adapted in a whim.
