I thought so too...but nooo...when i checked the raw it seems like chap 23 was a flashback of how he 1st met moonhyuk in that illegal fighting club! I think Yeonjin suddenly started crying and said that he's a scum and how he deserves to die (because it was yeonjin who accidentally made him lose the fight)i guess he felt guilty about it? but i'm not sure 'cause the raws are in korean so i just google translated some sentences
