....let me get this straight. Seungho is a noble. Nakyum aint the emperor for seungho to bow down to,since the only person a noble should kneel is the king/emperor himself. At 17th century,a noble having an affair with a low born was a disgrace. Furthermore,a male low born. Nakyum is under seungho's care and is a SUBJECT of seungho. And if nakyum leaves here,what future is there for him???he could be raped,killed,arrested for drawing sodomy acts or worse kidnapped and mistreated by another noble who would find him attractive enough. This is not a modern set manhwa and seungho as a noble,has the status and ability to kill and injure any low rank person. And you want jim to beg and kneel for forgiveness...??sometimes i wish this fandom wasnt of full of kids jesus..this is an angst love story,not a fluffy rom-com where the seme becomes all of the sudden the perfect lover. The author is not here to serve yall's wishes and she even turned off her comments after many similar ridiculous comments. I truly wonder if we have been even reading the same manhwa. first off i never was begging the author to do anything, or fulfill my wishes since i understand im in no obligation since im reading illegally just like you are reading on here. and i was pretty much joking/ and idealizing what I wish would happen/ since it won't. and under seungho's care lmaooo, you mean kidnapped. yes maybe he treats him better than others nobles, but he is keeping nakyum there for his own unhealthy obsession. and DOESNT FUCKING MEAN IF IT IS A DIFFERENT ERA, RAPE ISN"T DISGUSTING ETIHER WAY. readers have the obligation to believe its gross despite it being set in a different period, SINCE RAPE IS RAPE. and he is a rapist, and cause of the time period. I'm acknowledging that I believe back then the noble/lowborn relationship is gross, and the time for sure doesn't justify it. there is a reasont he relationship between people have changed. He has traumatized, rap3d, abused, and kidnapped Nakyum. And just like everyone is saying for some damn reason that he loves Nakyum, he should be able to redeem himself/ which in my opinion he can't. and you liking seungho is gross on another level, and don't try to condemn it by saying its fiction/diff era you're still glorifying the concept of rape. And who says the whole fucking story revolves around Seungho, it doesn't. I read it to see Nakyum/now his noona. I knew this was not a rom-com, but that doesn't mean im not enabled to think his action aren't disgusting cause they are despite the genre. that's like saying you can't think a killer is not bad, since the genre is horror lmaooo.

I understand where you are coming from however the point of this manhwa is to understand him. However if you still dont like his character,which is in my humble opinion the best and well written character in yaoi since i tend to read all kind of manga and manhwa regardless the genre,you can go ahead and read it for nakyum and his noona. Nk knows that seungho loves him and misunderstood the situation but he stayed quiet out of fear of no name not seungho. He does not fear seungho,in fact he is the only person who understands him aside from jihwa and has seen all sides of him. Again,seungho will not go out of character because people want him to. A good character means staying in consistency and to get a steady development which is the case for seungho. I search for good characters when i want to find my personal favourite manhwa and manga regardless the genre,and seungho is close of becoming one of my favourite characters because he is amazingly well written character. Unfortunately the fandom consists of teens who want their way in the story,the reason why the author closed the comment section for two weeks since she was getting backlash....for doing her work. Nakyum is infatuated with seungho and knows him better than anyone as i said,but if you want to focus elsewhere besides the characters and the plot thats fine

We can have different opinions on a characters,however in a world of fiction i sympathize with the one i personally find interesting whether is the killer,the victim or the joker. We can agree to disagree without pushing other's opinions which is why i commented on you in the first place. If you didnt get my point of view thats totally fine as well,i have read the story quite many times to see everyone's sides and now in can say that i can see from the author's perspective which is not only on nakyum's side but the other protagonist as well,seungho. A well consisted character who is so perfectly well written and in character will not change out of character for other's enjoyment,this is angst which has rape elements
